Aco Heading Release Introduction Bg Landscape

Dear colleagues,

during the day a new release will be rolled out on all websites. The new release will bring the following changes:

  • Reworked Image Slider – We have merged and simplified the OWL Slider with the Slider with white frame. Now there will only be an "Image Slider", which has kept the display of the OWL Slider. The white frame has been removed. The image description has also been changed. The application in the backend, on the other hand, has changed so that all images are maintained in one content element.

How the new Image Slider works

1. Inside the wizard

OWL Slider and Slider with white frame has been merged and renamed to Image Slider

2. Adding Images

Instead of selecting new content elements in the container as before, you now create slider content via "Images".

3. Insert multiple images

You can select multiple images to import.

4. Edit the images

You can add description text or crop your images. The display of the description has been standardized to the image content.

5. Display in the frontend

The display was kept from the OWL Slider. The description is the same as for the image content elements.

  • Removed transparency of the slider Indicators – The transparency of the indicators of the sliders and the carousel have been removed to be more in line with our corporate design.

  • Social-Media Icons backend module – We have now standardized the maintenance of social media icons in the footer. From now on, all social media channels will be maintained in the backend module of the website settings.

  • Display error of juxtaposition image in tab – If you have added a juxtaposition image content element inside a second tab container, the display was very small. This issue has been solved.
  • Display error diacritical marks – For some languages that use diacritical marks, we have identified a display error within our forms. This issue has been solved with this version.
  • Removed old job plugin – Because of the rework for the job offers layout we have deleted the old template and plugin.
